Behavioural therapy
Thoughts create emotions and emotions influence our
behaviour. Wrong associations in our brain can lead to
anxiety and undesired behavioural patterns. On the
basis that we can unlearn everything that we learn,
cognitive behavioural therapy is an effective way to
replace these undesired patterns by more suitable
ones.
Hypnotherapy
Sometimes people subconsciously repress things in order
to avoid having to deal with them. However, these things
can “work” subconsciously and cause physical symptoms.
Often, hypnosis is a great tool to quickly find the cause and
get support from the subconscious mind to achieve certain
goals.
Nutrition counselling
Everybody is different and so are their nutritional needs.
Most of us know exactly which foods are healthy and
which are not, however only few of us manage to
successfully change our diet long-term. The reason for
this is rarely a lack of discipline. There are many different
reasons and therefore a holistic approach is important
for success. The reasons behind eating the wrong foods
have to be found and better strategies need to be
developed to deal with stress, psychological problems
etc. This is the only way to succeed in creating healthier
eating habits step by step. I’d be happy to accompany
you on your way to better health and more energy.
Children and young adults
Nowadays there is increasing pressure on children. They
often display behavioural problems a from a very young
age. These usually cause problems the latest when a
child starts school and are often accompanied by social
problems. In particular during the teenage years there
can be problems caused by a broken heart, bullying or
addictions. We could talk about any problem during our
counselling sessions and search together for a good
solution.
Intestinal health
Many processes happen in the “second brain” of a
person – their intestines. Therefore, healthy intestines
are very important for health and wellbeing. Bad eating
habits, medication, stress, environmental factors,
undetected food intolerances etc can create an
imbalance in our microbiome, the gut flora, and trigger
a number of health complaints.
If the guts are in balance, so are you.
Weight loss
Low Carb, portion control, counting calories etc. Every
year there are new “miraculous diets” that promise to
make us quickly lose 10 pounds over the weekend. At
best, these diets do nothing, however, they can also
be dangerous for our health. Only long-term dietary
change is successful and prevents a yo-yo effect. I’d be
happy to support you in this complex mission.
My name is Silke Miller and I would like to welcome you to my website. I
have been a Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki System since 2001. I also
hold a diploma in hypnotherapy from the Atkinson-Ball College in
Southport, England. I have been practising as a holistic healer for
psychotherapy in Germany since 2019.
Next to psychotherapy I’m also interested in nutrition and attended
several courses in nutrition counselling, sports nutrition, weight
management etc.
In June 2020 I became a certified advisor for intestinal health.
In my opinion it doesn’t matter which part of the body becomes out of
balance, only the relationship between the psyche, nutrition and
lifestyle can achieve and maintain long-term health and wellbeing.
Only a holistic approach will find the causes rather than just treating
the symptoms.
